When I log into TrueComp, I do not see all the tabs on the Control Pad on the left side. I only see Administration.

    1. Begin by closing the TrueComp Virtual Training Environment by clicking red x in the upper right corner of the window that it is open in. The Callidus Welcome page may remain open.
    2. Then increase the screen resolution on your computer. To do this, right-click on your computer’s desktop, and choose Properties in the menu that appears. At the top of the Display Properties window, click on the Settings tab.
    3. Next, in the Screen resolution section of Display Properties, click on the pointer between Less and More, and drag it one tick to the right. Click OK. NOTE: If you cannot move the arrow to the right, skip the next two steps and continue with step f.
    4. Find the Callidus Home page window and click on the desired lab.
    5. After entering the lab, if all the tabs in the Control Pad are visible, you may skip the remaining steps and continue the class.
    6. If you cannot move the arrow to the right, you are already at the highest resolution supported by your computer. In that case, right-click in a blank area on your Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Choose Properties from the menu that appears.
    7. In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, click Auto-hide the taskbar. Click Apply.

I can’t start the application server, after being able to run it previously. When I attempt to start it, it runs, then closes suddenly.

When this occurs you may see error messages regarding “Could not obtain an exclusive lock for directory….Waiting for 10 seconds and then retrying…” in the window.

In this case the application may still be running in a separate Virtual session. To correct, logout of the current session, then re-enter from the Callidus Home window. This should return you to the original session where the application server was running.
